Han Tianran FOF scale inhibitor aids China's environmental protection and energy conservation

In collaboration with renowned water treatment engineering firms, we have introduced the proprietary FOF innovative eco-friendly solid scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor technology. Reportedly, this technology builds upon over 40 years of research at France's *Scientific Research Center. Scientists from its Corrosion and Scale Research Center made original discoveries of several scale-inhibiting substances, ultimately synthesizing the FOF innovative eco-friendly solid scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor. International media have noted: “This novel anti-scaling and anti-corrosion material has sparked a technological revolution in China's water sector.” The FOF scale inhibition technology series has demonstrated remarkable scale prevention effects and significant energy savings through nearly a decade of application in numerous domestic projects, including the Beijing Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing Yao International Hotel, New Poly Plaza, and Henan Junma Chemical Group. On August 13, the “Han Tianran FOF Scale Inhibitor Scientific Achievement Appraisal Conference” was grandly convened with the support of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Based on the scientific novelty report, renowned domestic experts—including Luo Zhentao (Advisor to the Solar Thermal Utilization Professional Committee of the China Rural Energy Industry Association), Cai Changming (Deputy Secretary-General of the China Building Water Supply and Drainage Research Branch and Member of the Building Water Supply and Drainage Committee of the China Water Industry Branch), Zhang Xiaoli (Director of the Solar Energy Professional Committee of the China Energy Conservation Association), and He Tao (Deputy Director of the Solar Water Heater Testing and Inspection Center (Beijing))—listened to detailed technical presentations from relevant personnel. Following on-site observation, questioning, and discussion, the following appraisal conclusions were reached:

    1. The submitted appraisal materials are complete and comprehensive, with credible data that can guide production.

     2. The product incorporates FOF eco-friendly solid micro-soluble scale inhibitor and corrosion inhibitor, utilizing trace inhibition technology. It directly interferes with crystal nucleus formation during the initial stage of scale-forming components, effectively preventing scale buildup without altering water's chemical or physical properties. This plays a significant role in water purification, environmental protection, and energy conservation.

    3. This product features high scale inhibition efficiency, low cost, environmental friendliness, ease of use, strong stability, and multiple corrosion inhibition functions.

    4. The development unit has established large-scale production capacity, enabling gradual fulfillment of demands across various sectors.

     According to Han Tianran, Chief R&D Engineer, scale exhibits extremely poor thermal conductivity, with a thermal conductivity coefficient dozens or even hundreds of times lower than that of metals. Experiments show that when heat exchange surfaces become encrusted with scale, each additional millimeter of scale reduces thermal conductivity by 20%–30%, resulting in a corresponding 20%–30% increase in electricity consumption. These data clearly indicate that scale is a critical issue requiring urgent resolution in China's drive toward an energy-efficient society. Even more alarming is that scale not only causes severe energy waste but also readily leads to localized corrosion and even perforation failure in household appliances, kettles, water dispensers, aluminum pots, solar water heaters, electric water heaters, thermos bottles, home heating stoves, hotel boilers, and self-heating furnaces. In extreme cases, it can cause uneven heating of appliances, triggering explosions with unimaginable consequences. Han Tianran FOF scale inhibitors boast extensive applicability.
