Chemical testing: Chemical testing mainly includes atomic absorption spectrometry, atomic fluorescence spectrometry, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry, and so on. Among them, atomic absorption spectrometry is to determine the content of heavy metal elements by measuring their absorption spectra; atomic fluorescence spectrometry is to determine the content of heavy metal elements by measuring their fluorescence intensity; inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry is to determine the content of heavy metal elements by measuring the intensity of ions produced after their ionization. These three methods are based on the chemical properties of heavy metal elements, generate specific compounds through specific chemical reactions, and then detect them through methods such as colorimetry and electrochemical methods.
Biological testing: Biological testing mainly includes biological toxicity testing and biological enrichment testing. Biological toxicity testing is mainly to determine the situation of heavy metal pollution in water bodies by measuring the toxic effects of water on organisms; biological enrichment testing is mainly to determine the situation of heavy metal pollution in water bodies by measuring the degree of accumulation of heavy metal elements in organisms. Fourth, understand the prevention and control measures for heavy metal pollution
To prevent heavy metal pollution, we should take the following measures:
Strengthen the treatment of industrial wastewater to ensure that the heavy metal content in wastewater is below the emission standards;
Strengthen the prevention and control of agricultural pollution, reduce the use of pesticides and fertilizers, and avoid heavy metal pollution;
Strengthen the treatment of domestic wastewater to ensure that the heavy metal content in wastewater is below the emission standards;
